You might remember Lisa and Phil from their engagement session I shot back in June. Since they both work in publishing it made sense for their wedding to have a literary feel. Lisa and her bridesmaids got ready at Hazlitts hotel in Soho, which was a ready made photo opportunity. Lisa wore a short dress and simple but gorgeous Louboutin's with their blue inner sole acting as the 'something blue'.
They married at Marylebone town hall, two weeks to the day before Paul McCartney and then we were on to the Union Club in Soho. A rabbit's warren of gorgeous but dark rooms, ram a jam with art, taxidermy and other assorted paraphernalia which meant that Lisa and Phil didn't need to do any additional decorating. For some reason, writing fully formed sentences seems to be beyond my ken tonight, so I'll leave the images to do the talking and just finish by saying that they have been an amazing couple to photograph, and I loved every minute of this wedding.
I was very ably assisted by the lovely Funmi of FOphotography who was a brilliant assistant. Some of these images were shot by her.
