On the second day, the reception was held at the Columbia Wharf Hilton hotel, probably the only hotel in London with it's own ferry service, and directly across the water from Canary Wharf. Wheres Suong had worn traditional Vietnamese dress on the first day, today she went for a more traditional number, and Daniel's mother welcomed the bride and groom into the room, leading traditional Ethiopian wedding dance, which had the dancefloor heaving before the starters had even arrived.

Suong & Daniel {married - day one}
Suong and Daniel had their wedding celebration spread out over two days, with a ceremony surrounded by close friends and family on day one and then a huge celebration by the banks of the River Thames on day two.
Here's some images from day one - on my way from the train station to the Register office the heavens opened, and it rained as hard as I've ever seen it rained in the UK but as soon as I arrived it brightened up, and we were blessed with some of the most awesome light I ever had the pleasure of shooting. It was a really beautiful and chilled day, so here are a few of my favourite shots.
Day two coming up later this week.

Lisa & Andy {Engaged}
Lisa booked me through Rock N Roll bride (yay) after seeing Amp & Johnny's wedding featured on the site without meeting me beforehand. Whikst i was hugely flatted this is the first time that's happened for me so I was understandably a bit nervous to meet them for the first time, however that was nothing compared to their nerves. They even brought along a bottle of champagne (and excellent retro Babycham glasses) to help ease the tension. We needn't have worried, despite the overcast day Battersea Park was an excellent location and, along with climbing trees and rocks, leaping off giant buddha statues and staking out patches of bamboo I think we got some rather excellent shots.
I can't wait for their wedding by the Kentish seaside in August next year!
