KIRI & MATT {MARRIED} ISLINGTON TOWN HALL AND THE PEASANT, LONDON

You wait for ages for a blog post, and then two come along in the same week...

Trying to find a way to describe how much I loved being there for Kiri & Matt's wedding day is difficult; it truly was super fun. In a strange, small world way Matt and I were kind of connected - he worked for a supplier that I dealt with in my previous life as a menswear buyer although they booked me for their wedding before I knew that!

It's probably best for me to try and summarise some of the things that were so fabulous - a gin theme to the reception, real taxidermed mice on top of their cheese cake, amazing food, a gorgeous Candy Anthony dress, customised vintage Nike trainers, top tips for all their guests, red hearts everywhere, a first dance that was more dance-off, whizzing round London on a boozy bus and stopping for photos, a mini shoot in the local kebab shop, the most amazing and heartfelt speeches and all their wonderful friends and family. All weddings should be like this one!
